Mark on your calendars July 23rd and 24th of 2011, and make your way to Raceway Park in PEI. We are celebrating 40 years of racing at the park and want you to join us!
Raceway Park, originally called P.E.I. Dragway, opened in 1971 when there were muscle cars, race cars and everyone sang along with the Beach Boys Little Deuce Coup or Jan & Deans She's Real Fine, My 409. 2011, forty years later, brings back a new muscle car era, and we still have lots of race cars and, in addition, there are the new junior dragsters.

We are sure that we will see many racers and fans that were here when we started and there are some that have never stopped racing here since we started. On the 24th weekend we will be doing our regular racing of all classes, with extras such as $500 added to Saturday's Gamblers Race purse as well as extra prizes for number one qualifiers, top reaction times, etc. To add to the fun,on Sunday we will see out of Colorado, Dave Douthit's 300 mph Jet Dragster at the Park to put on a show. Will we see another track record set 40 years after we opened? You will have to come on to the Park to find out!!
