Raceway Park Points Series

Welcome to the 2013 drag racing season at Raceway Park. Our points race continues with 5 events this year, with racers counting their best 4 races. There are 20 points for "show" and 10 points for each round win. The racer that wins the class will get an extra 5 points; the racer finishing second will receive 3 extra points, and any racer finishing third or tying for third will receive 1 extra point. These extra points are new and are an effort to eliminate so many ties in final points standings.

Payouts*

* Minimum 22 vehicles per class. If 21 or fewer vehicles, payout for that class will be cut in half.

* 20% will be added to the payout of any class greater than 64 entries.
